Courmayeur – Italy
At the foothills of the famous Mont Blanc mountain, you will find Courmayeur. The village of Courmayeur has beautiful historic buildings and charming car-free streets with cobblestones, where you can find good restaurants and Italian designer boutiques.
Courmayeur offers 36 kilometers of ski slopes, which makes it ideal for a weekend ski trip. The height of the slopes varies from 1,250 to 2,755 meters. The slopes of Chamonix in France and Verbier in Switzerland are also within reach.
Verbier – Switzerland
Verbier is the main ski resort in the largest ski area of Switzerland one of the largest in Europe: The Four Valleys. The area, which goes from 1,500 meters to 3,330 meters, offers over 400 kilometres of runs, which are easy accessible by more than 100 ski lifts.
The chalet-style village offers views on impressive mountain peaks and in the centre you can find a wide variety of sophisticated shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. This popular Swiss ski resort attracts people from all over the world, giving it a true cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Val d’Isere – France
Val d’Isere is located at an altitude of 1,800 meters and is a lively, long-stretched village. This beautiful French ski resort offers more than 300 kilometres of slopes, which go from 1,550 meters up to a snow-guaranteed altitude of 3,456 meters.
It offers a good range of pubs and restaurants and the village looks a lot more attractive since an extensive renovation in 1992, which resulted in an impressive growth in popularity among skiers and snowboarders.
Sankt Anton – Austria
Sankt Anton is worldwide known as one of the liveliest ski resorts with a wide variety in pubs, clubs and restaurants.
This Austrian village located on a slope, offers more than 157 kilometres of ski runs, but the St. Anton ski pass also gives you access to the ski resort of Lech am Arlberg, where you will find another 176 kilometres of slopes.
The Sankt Anton ski resort is for both beginners and advanced skiers (and people who love après-ski!) a great destination.
